We took off this morning at 4:45 for our long journey. We went to bed around 1 am, so 4am came quick! We are currently hanging out in Detroit waiting for our flight to Beijing. So far so good..
We leave for Beijing at 12:20 pm and we will arrive there around 3:30 am (3:30 pm China time.)
We are feeling excited and nervous at the same time. It will be so hard to be away from Ava and Jesse and we are working through that right now. Please pray specifically that we would have a peace in our hearts (they are in great hands!) Also, please pray for Ava and Jesse. Ava is taking it hard and really didn’t want us to leave 😦
It will all be worth it when we are all together as a family of 5!
Keep praying for safe travels as we stay in Beijing one night and then head to Guangzhou to get Jude. We will most likely get him sometime between 1am-5am on Monday morning (US time!) Please pray specifically for bonding and attachment. We really can’t wait to see him!
