Hey everyone. Michael here, day 3 is almost over… We had our first grocery store trip, along with a meltdown, and it was awesome. We also played in the courtyard of the hotel, and there was lots of laughing and chasing and almost falling. It helped add some balance to the day! We had to go the notary office to sign more papers and be interviewed… The other couple that went with us were laughing at me after our interview because they could hear me all the way in the lobby saying “we love China! And we will never leave or abandon our son, etc.” It was a little nerve-racking, but we passed the interview.
Jude (which we haven’t started calling him yet) let me give him a bath tonight and put on his PJs. That was a good thing because he definitely favors his mama!
Tomorrow we go get his passport, and then we are taking a river cruise in the evening.
We are feeling homesick and it seems that time is moving slowly. Please keep us in your prayers!
Thank you so much for all you updates! We are so excited for you guys and appreciate you taking us along on your journey. I sobbed yesterday while reading the gotcha post. He is yours!!!
What a handsome looking little man – we are so excited for you guys and praying for you often. Can’t wait to see you all soon.
